Zero Party System, now

Zero Party System.
Would the USA be better with no political parties? 080114

Most USA citizens are fed up with the two party system.
A third party could do very well, but the two party politicians have arranged state laws so that it is almost impossible for a third party to get started and thrive.
But USA citizens have proven they can -- at times -- get together and stop even two party legislation, like the "Comprehensive Immigration Reform Bill" that would have -- upon signing -- made all illegal aliens legal.
It would be hard for fed up voters to change the laws enabling third parties in all 50 states.
It would be easier to come together again and demand our politicians outlaw all political parties organized to push their candidates on USA voters.  If we all came together to do this we could make the two party politicians do what we want.
The law would make it illegal for anyone to conspire across state lines to advocate the election of some candidate who will -- in the future -- become a party nominee.
In place of national parties, citizens would be able to organize along issue lines.  People in a state with a view on an issue could get together and push their issues --  like securing our borders or providing amnesty for illegal aliens, etc. -- within their state and THEN these issue oriented citizens would nominate a candidate from their state who represents that issue.  After the issue primary in the state, the issue winners from various states would get together to push the single best candidate that represents THEIR issue.  Ultimately, the issue winners could get together and choose among themselves some smaller subset of issue winners.
